Rodrigo was born in Merida, Venezuela, where he began his music education. He moved to Spain to study conducting, and resumed his at the Kunstuniversität Graz in 2013. He continued his vocal studies in Sweden. In 2018, he received a second masters in opera performance.
Rodrigo has been prize winner in several important vocal competitions, such as “Renata Tebaldi” in San Marino in 2017, “Canticum Gaudium” in Poznan and the VII Concurso Internacional de Canto in Gran Canaria in 2019. His vast experience in the operatic repertoire includes roles spanning from the early Italian “seicento” to the most modern pieces.
