Daniel Morales – dancer and choreographer

Daniel is a dancer, choreographer and teacher born in Gran Canaria and trained in Urban and Contemporary Dances since 2002. His vision focuses on the search for his own language. He has been a resident of Tenerife since 2013 where he has been a member of Tenerife Dance Lab for four years. This dance platform resides at the Tenerife Auditorium. He has worked with dancers and choreographers such as Daniel Abreu, Laura Marrero, Paloma Hurtado, Helena Berthelius, Carmen Macías and Sara Wiktorovicz among others. Since 2017 he has been a dancer for Cocoon Dance Company (Germany) and Cía. Nomad (Tenerife).

In 2014 he began with the creation of his own shows, with which he has received special mentions in the International Contemporary Dance Contest of the Canary Islands MASDANZA, Choreographic Contest of Tetuán (Madrid), HOP Festival (Barcelona) and the International Solos Contest of the Festival Dance of Gdansk (Poland), obtaining the second prize in 2017 and the first prize in 2019.
